Dear Friends and fellow wine lovers,
We find ourselves in an interesting place in the chronicling of the life’s journey of Seed Wine. As you have learned from following the life of our wine, the creation of a premier Malbec that brings fulfillment and pleasure to the palate is not the only joy we’ve experienced. A great wine becomes a bookmark in the chapters of our lives. It brings with it a magical measure of grace and dignity, which is born from the perfect marriage of soil and vine, together with the artistry of the Master Wine Maker’s hand.
We’ve received memorable notes from many of you who loved the wine we brought to life, as well as being honored in receiving national recognition that humbled us as embryonic vintners. We gave back to the Argentinian community in Mendoza that adopted us, by funding supplies to the local schools from the sale of each bottle of Seed, allowing the wine to share love in a special way.
In closing, Sir Richard Branson said, “A wonderful creation in business is simply an idea to make other’s lives better while fulfilling your own dreams. It is not measured by years of existence, but rather by the magic it delivers in whatever its lifetime is.”
We love Sir Branson’s quote because it captures the very soul of our mission in giving birth and life to Seed. A wonderful wine that delivered joy to those who tasted it, brought happiness to school children who were blessed by its sharing and created a bookmark of a memorable life experience for Alex and me. We have begun a fresh adventure in creating a new business based in Austin, Texas which again fulfills Sir Branson’s description of “a simple idea to make people’s lives better”. We have enjoyed sharing the life of Seed wine with you, along with offering you this opportunity to acquire some of the last few bottles, we thank you for participating in the Seed journey!
